Daniel Day Lewis wins Film Critics Association award



Daniel Day Lewis, Academy Award-winning actor, has been chosen for the best actor award by the Los Angels Film Critics' Association for his performance in There Will Be Blood. The movie bagged two more awards, the best film award and the best director award for Paul Thomas Anderson. The Best Actress award will be presented to Marion Cotilard for her performance in Ma Vie en Rose. Amy Ryan was adjudged the best supporting actress for her role in Gone Baby Gone and Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead. The best supporting actor award will be given to Vlad Ivanov for the Roman drama 4 months, 3 weeks and 2 Days, which also bagged the best foreign film award. Ratatouille and Persepolis share the best animation film award. The awards will be given on Januray 12, 2008.
