Another animation “Alvin and The Chipmunks” hits Hollywood this Friday



Alvin and The Chipmunks is a computer animated film based on the popular musical group Alvin and the Chipmunks. Directed by Tim Hill, the movie tells the story of three talking and singing chipmunks named Alvin, Simon and Theodore. It was Ross Bagdasarian, Sr. who created these characters forming a fictional five-time Grammy Award winning musical group named Alvin and the Chipmunks. The group consists of a mischievous leader, Alvin, the tall intellectual Simon and the chubby Theodore. The three are managed by their human father, David Seville. The singing chipmunks have appeared in several cartoon series and motion pictures. Bagdasarian’s "The Chipmunk Song" became a hit number in the U.S. and won three Grammy awards. After the death of Bagdasarain in 1972, the voices of the chipmunks were recorded by his son, Ross Bagdasarian Jr. and his wife Janice Karman.The Alvin and The Chipmunks hits theatres in the U.S. this Friday.
