Ragasiyamanathu Kadhal Pooja

The pooja of “Ragaiyamanathu Kadhal” a new serial produced by Pyramid Saimira Productions Limited, was held on 15th December 2007 at the location in set in Nesappakkam. This youthful entertainer revolves around three youngsters, Pugal, his lover and his lover turned friend! Pugal, the hero is a RJ in a music station and the heroine Kayal is a college student. This college-based serial has fresh young talents like Koushik of “ Megasandesam” fame (Telugu) and Swapna of “ Mandharam” (Malayalam) fame playing the lead role and is directed by renowned serial Director, Ashwin Bhaskar, of “Ganga Yamuna Sarawathi”, “Edhirneechchal”, “Sooryavamsam”(Telugu) and “Veetukku Veedu Lootti”.

At a time when youth based serials such as “Kanaa Kaanum Kaalangal”, have created a fresh outlook, “Ragasiyamanathu Kadhal” comes with a bang to prove that new subjects are the in-thing in today’s prime time TV programming. The story covers all aspects related to the youth of today, their love life, personal conflicts, friendships, family milieu and other teenage dilemmas. It’s a colourful and vibrant tale that would arrive as a relief to the incessantly weeping tearjerkers, that come in daily doses via the television screens. Though it has a young cast the drama would cater to all, teenagers, families and the young at heart. The locations are also totally new, ranging from the hilly mountains of Ooty to the backwaters of Allepey.
