Actress Shriya Reveals Her 'Hot Inner Things'

Attitude
Shriya believes in work and hard work and she claims that she is a workaholic, recently she got back from a holiday in London and in no time she was seen slogging it out. The pretty girl also takes a stunning bikini session for the famous magazine as a matter of fact and throws a line that it was just beach wear and nothing more.

Fan clubs
Given the list of countless fans that Shriya has got, it would make perfect sense for her to come up with fan clubs but then she prefers to stay away from such set ups. However, she likes to interact with her fans from time to time and it is not a surprise to note that even the famous Jeffrey Archer has a picture of this pretty starlet in his personal blog.

Men and controversies
Given her sizzling looks, it is but natural for Shriya to get tangled with men and their mischief. Recalling the Tirupati incident where a man laid a hand on her waist and her immediate slap on his face. Shriya said that it was fully justified and he deserved it. However, not much has been spoken on a romantic angle for this hot girl.

South Indian identity
Though she is born in the north and did her education in Delhi, Shriya likes to be identified as a south Indian actress since her first film was in Telugu titled 'Ishtam' and later on there was no turning back for her till 'Sivaji' catapulted her to an entirely different league that will take years for any of her contemporaries. Shriya says she is proud to be a south Indian and right now she has flicks with south Indian hulks like Vikram, Kamal Haasan, Sarath Kumar etc

Shriya has also got her international flavour coming up in the form of Ashok Amritraj's 'The Other End of the Line' wherein she is pairing up with famous Jesse Metcalfe and then there is 'What's Cooking?' by Deepa Mehta wherein she is playing the role of a servant. Shriya says that it is essential for an actress to be in a position to swing to either side depending on the situation when it comes to roles and come up with glamorous and performance driven roles.

Fitness, diet and beauty secret
While all of them have been in awe of the beauty of Shriya, she said that it is her Kathak dancing that has kept her in shape and then her 45 minutes of serious workout with loads of cardio in it. She has also taken to few lighter things like yoga and meditation but when it comes to diet, she has no reservations and prefer to go for home cooked food like dal and vegetables. Shriya is crazy about sambar. On the other side, she would just grab whatever comes to her hand like coffee whenever she feels like.

For her beauty, she tends to spend hours with her friend Trisha at the spa and gets a full massage done. Her favorite is the cold coffee at Mocha and though she is a party animal no drinks are on the cards for her.

Fashion, style and hobbies
Shriya has often been labeled as the best fit for an out fit. Having a shapely body that sits on to any dress and makes her look very attractive, Shriya says that her personal favorites are Bebe and Miss Sixty though she loves variety ranging from Armani. Though she admits that her knowledge in westerns are weak, she loves to be casual to the maximum.

When not doing anything, Shriya loves to devour books and also try her hand at Kathak since it was her original desire to become a classical dancer. She is also into spirituality and says that she is very much to herself at times. Secondly, it is her ipod with Bose music speakers that get her going since she is a big freak of music. Talk about holidays and Shriya refers to long walks, adventure sports, treks in the Himalayas and something quite outgoing of that sort. Her target is to go for the scuba diving at the Lakshadweep islands but time has not permitted her.

Despite all these qualities, there has not been an instance where Shriya has been linked to a man or any sort of romancing. While some feel that she is too single and independent that the emotional touch is missing, the others say that she is so caught up in her own world that she fails to look up to those who really can win her heart.

It pioneered the concept of reality singing contests on TV that was well received nationally and internationally discovering and elevating many talented singers that includes the present singing heartthrob of Bollywood Shreya Ghosal. Now with the launch of Zee Tamil this amazing show descends on Tamil Nadu, under the title “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Sangeetha Maha Yudhdham.”

Pyramid Saimira ‘s television wing aims at a totally new concept with this show by bringing together past title holders, runners up and finalists of Kids singing shows from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and North India on one platform to vie for the “Sangeetha Maha Yudhdham” title once again. A National appeal would be exuded from this magnanimous show, as participants from different States would be rendering songs in multitudes of Indian languages from across the country.


Adhering to the concept of Maha Yudhdham it would be a 20 episode battle with novel rounds, grandeur of sets and tough competition between the contestants who have already been proclaimed the best in their respective states. The Nation’s two prominent singers would judge the entire show. Usha Uthup who is at her best while intermingling the Western and Eastern cultures in her songs and established herself as the Queen of Indian Pop would be one of the judges. As a direct contrast eminent Carnatic singer Soumiya who has a great fan following for her classical songs would be the other judge. This combination of Western and Classical features is sure to add diversity to the kind of music that would be part of the “Saregamapa - Sangeetha Maha Yudhdham”.

And to add more glitz to this cultural conglomeration the company has roped in Ujjaini from the land of the tigers, Bengal to host the show. Ujjaini has embarked on a successful singing career with hit songs like “Nee nadaswaram pola” and “Marilyn Monroe cloninga” from “Azhagiya Thamizh Magan” and “Nachchenru” from “Attagasam” within a short stint in Kollywood. She is also taking special training in Tamil diction for the sole purpose of compeering this show.
