Everybody Dies but Me (Original Russian Title: Vse Umrut, a ya Ostanus) is a Russian teenage and college oriented drama film, directed by Valeria Gaia Germanika. A gritty, emotionally charged coming-of-ager, "Everybody Dies but Me" offers up a bare-bones portrait of adolescent angst in the violent suburbs of Moscow.
Brief Story PointOne Monday morning Katya, Vika and Zhanna, three teenage school girls from Moscow's suburbs, learn that the coming Saturday there will be a disco at their school. The girls start feverishly preparing for the event. But Katya is rude to a teacher and the disco might be cancelled. In the end, the girls rebel against their parents, against their teachers, and against each other. Once the dust of the disco has settled, they are no longer friends, but they are also no longer who they were before.
