The much-waited film, ‘Dasavatharam’, directed by K S Ravikumar and produced by Ravichandran for the banner of Oscar Movies International, in which Kamal Haasan plays 10 different characters, is all set to hit the screens on June 13.
Speaking on the occasion, Kamal says, “It is not very hard to work in such films as long as we have a director who could understand our problems and give us proper guidance. Moreover, the film had a fantastic producer who never compromised on quality. The film has music from a great musician like Himesh Reshmia. While listening to his tunes, I was reminded of M S Viswanathan. At the same time, the film has background music from a talented youngster like Devisri Prasad.” Director KS Ravikumar says, “Several top technicians who worked for Hollywood films like ‘Titanic’ and ‘Water World’ worked for the movie. The White House set made by Thotta Tharani, the Vishnu temple set belonging to 12th century AD, would remain the highlight of the movie. We are making efforts to release the film on June 13 simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi with over 1,000 prints.” Asin played the heroine opposite Kamal Haasan in this movie.
