Australian Animation “Mary and Max”

Mary and Max is a forthcoming stop motion clay-animation feature film from Australia, based on real story, directed and written by Adam Elliot. The voice cast Toni Collette, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Eric Bana. The film premiered on the opening night of the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.

Basic Plot
The film tell the story of the unlikely pen-pal friendship between Mary, a chubby lonely 8-year-old girl in Melbourne, Australia, and Max, a 44-year-old, severely obese, Jewish man with Asperger's Syndrome living in New York.
