Simran’s “Dharmayudhdham” enters the Small Screen


A racy storyline, curiosity-kindling screenplay, diverse characters and swiftly changing emotions are words that best describe “Simran Thirai”, aired on Jaya TV from Monday to Friday at 8.30.P.M. the month of June will have a story titled, “Dharmayudhdham”, which is out to testify that each story in this series would dole out a fresh subject every month.


Simran, the protagonist of this series of mini-megas and the star who stole viewers’ hearts with her impeccable performances as a servile housewife, a foster mother and an ubber chic girl in the previous stories would now essay the role of a College lecturer.

Simran enacts the role of Mangai, whose father Y.Gee. Mahendran, a medical scientist, invents a unique medicine that gets him entangled in a dilemma. Mangai perseveres to solve her father’s problems while courageously defending her family against an uncommitted crime. This story crosses over the barriers of the usual sentimental drama towards a subject that has so far not been experimented on small screen serials- artificial intelligence and science. Packed with mystery, action, graphical illustrations “Dharmayudhdham” is the fight of a young girl against greedy criminals to save her family from an embarrassment that grasps National attention.



Together with Simran, “Dharmayudhdham” also has Y.Gee. Mahendran Sulakshana, Mohan Sharma, Shyam Ganesh, Akila and many others as its cast and is being directed by Ashwin Bhaskar.
