Pyramid Saimira presents the Fifth story of ‘Simran Thirai’- “Navavelli”

The small screen industry across the country seems to have caught up with a spiritual fervor with the re-invention of the big-budgeted “Ramayana” and “Mahabharatha” dominating the TV screens. Incidentally ‘Simran Thirai’ that has been collecting an overwhelming response from the audience embarks on a divine subject as well, for the month of July. Fittingly titled “Navavelli” this story comes amidst the most auspicious of months, the Aadi season, which celebrates the power of the Shakthi. It will be on air from the 30th of June 2008 from Monday to Friday during the 8.30P.M slot on Jaya TV.

An unsurpassable force of energy in the form of Annai Adhiparasakthi, unites the good and evil deeds of this world safeguarding the interests of human beings. As she fights for justice she instills spiritual faith in them- this concept forms the crux of the new story “Navavelli”.

In “Navavelli” a mortal man aspires to procure the energies of Amman (Simran), by unleashing heavenly secrets. Realizing the effects it would create on earth, Amman induces her devotees Uma Maheshwari and Gayathri Devi to fight the negative and egoistic mortal man whose desire to control the world reaches a zenith point. Amman shows her prowess at every juncture by adorning new avatars to teach the mortal a good lesson.

This is a story that comes to enlighten and instill the power of spiritual forces in this corrupt world. “Navavelli” is packed with mystery, mythology and divinity.

Simran as usual gives a splendid performance that would definitely ear mark her as the one and only all-rounder in Tamil small screen. From the fierce Kaali Mata to the mischievous gypsy girl Simran, adorns more than fourteen different multi-faceted characters surpassing the hype created by “Dasavathaaram”.

Along with Simran this mini-mega has Poovilangu Mohan, O.A.K. Sundar, Anuradha Krishnamoorthy and Subbulaxmi.
