Animation flick 'Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa'

Madagascar 2: Escape Africa is the upcoming 2008 sequel to the 2005 film, Madagascar. It is in production by DreamWorks Animation and is scheduled to be released on November 7, 2008. The film will be distributed by Paramount Pictures. It has been confirmed that the film will be about the animals starting the plane on Madagascar, and then landing in mainland Africa, and meeting some of Alex's family.

The film stars the voices of Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Jada Pinkett Smith, David Schwimmer, Sacha Baron Cohen, Bernie Mac, Cedric the Entertainer, and Andy Richter. Also guest voicing includes Alec Baldwin, Will.i.am, Bernie Mac, Sherri Shepherd, and Patton Oswalt. Tiny Lister is also rumored to appear. The previous title was "Madagascar: The Crate Escape", which was featured on a trailer with Ben Stiller. The film is rated PG for some mild crude humor. It is the final film to star Bernie Mac, to whom it is dedicated because of his untimely death before the it could be completed.

Synopsis
All of the loveable characters are back – Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo, King Julien, Maurice, Mort, the chimps and the penguins – in Madagascar 2: Escape Africa. They find themselves escaping Madagascar via an old airplane that was modified by the animals. While in flight their engines failed, causing them to crash in africa. They find themselves in the wildest place of all – the vast plains of Africa – where our zoo-raised crew encounter species of their own kind for the very first time.

While discovering their roots, they quickly find the differences between the concrete jungle and the heart of Africa. Despite long-lost relatives, romantic rivals and scheming hunters, Africa seems like a great place...but is it better than their Central Park home?

Premiere
The premiere of Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa is coming to November 2, 2008 at Mann's Village Theater in Los Angeles, California, attended by Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith, Cedric The Entertainer, Andy Richter, Alec Baldwin and Sherri Shepherd.

"Saw V"

Saw V is the upcoming fifth installment in the Saw film series. The film is set to be released on October 24, 2008. Unlike the previous three installments, Saw V will not be directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, but instead by David Hackl, who was the production designer of Saw II, Saw III and Saw IV, as well as a second-unit director for Saw III and Saw IV.

Plot

Lionsgate has released a brief plot synopsis for Saw V that "Hoffman is seemingly the last person alive to carry on the Jigsaw legacy. But when his secret is threatened, Hoffman must go on the hunt to eliminate all loose ends."

Sequels
Costas Mandylor has signed up for the next installment of the horror franchise along with main character, Jigsaw, portrayed by Tobin Bell.
It was confirmed through multiple sources that David Hackl, the production designer for Saw II, Saw III and Saw IV and second unit director for Saw III and Saw IV has officially been announced to direct both Saw V and Saw VI. However, it was later reported that Hackl would only direct Saw V, and that Saw VI would be directed by Kevin Greutert, the editor on all the Saw films to date.

The writers of Saw IV, Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton, will be writing Saw V and Saw VI. Saw V has been in production since Christmas and is set to be released on October 24, 2008. In an interview at IGN.com, Patrick Melton hinted that Saw V will reveal what happened to Corbett after Saw III. Producer Mark Burg has stated he wants Scott Patterson to return as Agent Strahm, which will be difficult as he's doing a TV series. Patterson's TV show, Aliens in America, was cancelled in May 2008.
The winner of the VH1 reality series Scream Queens will win a role in the film.

World Release
The film will be released in Australia on October 23, 2008, in North America and the United Kingdom on October 24, 2008, and in New Zealand on October 30, 2008.

The film was flagged on January 25,2008. The film already hit floors on February 10 2008. The 90% film is completed in 40 days at South Africa. It is also known that on February 16 2008, Himesh Reshammiya had recorded one song by giving a live performance in South Africa. The sound recording was entirely done in the Singapore.Himesh Reshammiya performed his songs "Lut Jaaon" and "Ek Haseena Thi" at Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009's first show.
