Pyramid Saimira offers another treat

With a sweeping seven engaging stories to its credit Pyramid Saimira Productions International Ltd produced ‘Simran Thirai’ has been flourishing with interesting themes over the past few months. The month of October tenders a comical treat with the protagonist Simran, donning a the role of an ‘agrahaaram maami’.

“Sundari Neeyum, Sundaran Naanum” the eight story, is a hilarious laughter riot where two rival families persist on a never ending fight to marry off their respective daughters to the same wealthy NRI guy. Simran is seen as Janaki, an epitome of tradition and humility while her rival, Kokila is portrayed as a modern day, eager to fly abroad young girl.

The groom who comes to see Janaki, accidentally steps in to Kokila’s house and thinking she is the right girl becomes her fiancée. Janaki and her family embark on a fight to get back the groom. One caught in this milieu is the innocent and unassuming NRI groom. Will Janaki win the NRI guy? or Will Kokila fly away to USA with the unsuspecting groom? The drama unfolds with rib-tickling laughter day by day with a host of comedy artistes accompanying Simran in this colourful family drama.


“Sundari Neeyum Sundaran Naanum” makes its humorous launch from the 13th of October 2008 on Jaya TV during the 8.30P.M slot from Monday to Friday.

Satheesh, Deepa Venkat, Shailaja, Shobana, Crazy Kumar, Sairam, Priya, Nagalaxmi, Archana, Sandhanam and Suruli Mohan join the leading lady Simran in this comedy serial directed by S.N. Sakthivel.
