Heard of ham radio???


This mix of fun, public service, friendship and convenience is the main feature of amateur radio. It is also for anyone who enjoys experimentation.

Ham radio is basically a wireless communication technology, which enables one to establish one’s own two-way radio station often with another ham or with a group of hams in an informal roundtable. The operator is called an amateur radio operator, who comes from various walks of life. It is a hobby and a service.


These radio enthusiasts have personal radio communications station to communicate with people around the world. While they increase their personal knowledge of electronics and radio theory, it is a sheer joy and thrill. Amateur Radio is a never-ending journey, because its aim is not the destination, but the journey itself

Ham radio provides the opportunity to gather knowledge and exchange on air in an informal way. Ham radio is not used for commercial purposes. Ham radio can be very portable and affordable.
The best ways to learn about Amateur Radio is to talk to hams face-to-face. You too can become a Ham by joining a supportive amateur radio club near you. But remember.. You need take a License.
